Former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is leaving Dutch club Den Haag after just four months in charge.
The Eredivisie season was abandoned on Friday because of the coronavirus pandemic, with Den Haag seven points from safety.
Pardew and assistant Chris Powell have agreed to leave by mutual consent after one win in eight games in charge.
“I enjoyed the passion of the fans and look back at a wonderful experience working in Holland,” said Pardew.
The ex-West Brom boss said last week that reports stating he would receive a bonus payment for avoiding relegation with the club were “nonsense”.
“If I formally was entitled to a bonus, I would never want to receive it,” he said in a club statement.
“In this difficult period, I would always return any bonus to the club, which will certainly find a good destination for it.”
Pardew joined Den Haag in December and led the club to six points from a possible 24 before play was halted in the Netherlands on 12 March.
