Hull KR will be without four first-team players for their trip to the AJ Bell Stadium on Thursday to face Salford Red Devils.

Ryan Hall, 35, misses the fixture due to a rib injury picked up in the opening weekend win over Wigan. The winger scored the club’s first try of the 2023 Super League season, but did not return to action for the second half in the 27-18 victory.

Rhys Kennedy also misses out due to a head knock sustained in the win over the Warriors. The 28-year-old forward was forced from the field on his official debut, and later failed a HIA.

In another major blow, full-back Lachlan Coote has not been included in the side’s 21-man squad. The club has confirmed that the Scotland international will miss the game with a minor hamstring strain.

Coote, 32, suffered with the same injury throughout the 2022 campaign, limiting him to 17 appearances last year.

Meanwhile, forward Matty Storton, 23, misses out after sustaining a foot injury against Wigan at Craven Park.

There could be two debutants for Hull KR, with Louis Senior and Sam Luckley named in the 21-man squad.

Hull KR have won the previous four outings against Salford.

Hull KR: Ryan, Opacic, Kenny-Dowall, Abdull, Sue, Parcell, King, Halton, Linnett, Minchella, Litten, Batchelor, Keinhorst, Dagger, Lewis, Hadley, Senior, Wood, Johnson, Luckley, Laulu-Togaga’e.
