Ryan Hall decides to go round again

Six-time Super League winner Ryan Hall will play on in to 2024 after signing a new one-year deal at Hull KR.

Hall, 35, is in his third season at Craven Park and has scored 33 tries in 51 appearances.

He told the club’s official website: “It’s great to get this news out and confirm what I”m doing next year. I Still feel good.

“You don’t see many 35-year-old wingers knocking about, but my body feels good and I still feel like I can produce on the field.

“I’ve really enjoyed the progression here at Hull KR. I think we’ve been making big strides that have helped us become a better team all around. I’ve enjoyed being a part of that and hopefully we can keep going on that same trajectory as a club and really achieve something.”

The new deal will take Hall in to his 18th season as a professional.

He will be most remembered for his 12 seasons at Leeds where he made 330 appearances, scoring 233 tries, and won every domestic honour.

As well as his six league titles, Hall won two Challenge Cups, two World Club Challenges and two League Leaders’ Shield at Headingley.

Hall made his Leeds debut in the infamous Magic Weekend win over Bradford at the Millennium Stadium in 2007.

In 2019, he made the move to Australia to play for Sydney Roosters in the NRL, though he failed to find a try in 11 appearances.

Hull KR coach Willie Peters added: “We are delighted Ryan has agreed to go around again for another season. Hally indicated after I got the job that he wanted to play again next season, and he’s certainly earned this contract extension.

“Ryan is a professional who knows his body and he’s a great role model for our younger players on what it takes to be a Super League player. He is a great example that age is only a number.”
