BARTESTREE & Lugwardine gave their survival hopes a boost and moved off the Worcestershire County League Division One summit with a welcome win over Hagley.
An unbeaten century by Ed Milner helped his side to set a formidable target of 219-4 off their 50 overs.
Hagley stood a chance of hitting the total until Tom Strangward demolished five wickets and the visitors collapsed.
Andy Rogers joined Milner at the crease who was free flowing and they looked like they were on for a big score.
However, the Hagley spinners slowed things up and when Rogers (18) and Ryan Trattell (7) both fell it was up to Max Backhouse (40) and Milner to make sure Bartestree got up to a dominant position.
Both played brilliantly and when Milner survived a few scares in the 90’s he got to his maiden 100 for the club.
He carried his bat and Bartestree ended up posting a competitive score of 219 off 50 overs.
The Bartestree bowlers were ready to go with Strangward (5-28) and Adam Davies (2-35) taking early wickets.
When Backhouse (3-24) joined the party Bartestree took their first win for two months.
Burghill, Tillington & Weobley moved 50 points above the relegation zone following a losing draw against league leaders Barnt Green.
After being made to bowl wickets were hard to come by for the Herefordshire visitors but John Lewis (1-35), in particular bowled a miserly first spell to restrict the scoring.
Spinners AJ Morris and Ranjit William also restricted the run rate when they bowled.
Barnt Green ended on 269-6 off their 50 overs. Theo Darke picked up two late wickets to finish with 2-16.
In reply, the Burgs lost three early wickets to the dangerous opening quick, Jack Warner.
They were teetering at 34-3 before Barney Morgan (81) and Sabil Sarmad (25) started the damage repairs. They took the score to 122 at drinks and at this stage, the game was in the balance.
Four quick wickets soon followed to erase any hopes the Burgs had of springing an upset.
From 122-3 to 153-7, the win all but vanished. Forcing the issue, Morgan was caught for a stylish 81, which included 7 fours and 4 sixes.
Tyler Garrard (36) and Ranjit William (17) put on an unbroken 39 run stand for the ninth wicket to force the draw.
Brockhampton are still fighting for their lives in the Premier Division following a losing against fellow strugglers Old Elizabethans.
After the Herefordshire visitors elected to field wickets were hard to come by as Old Elizabethans posted a target of 223-6 off 50 overs, with Indiana Jerram taking (3-51) with the ball.
With the bat George Mokler top scored with 34 as the Herefordshire visitors held on to finish on 168-9 off 50 overs.
