Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth is renowned for his aggression on the pitch, but he has shown his softer side ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
The second-rower appeared in an energy drink advert, which has caught the eye on social media.
The advert starts with a wife asking her husband if he could tell their daughter a bedtime story.
He explains that it has already been sorted, and when the pair go to the room, Etzebeth is sitting reading a story to their child.
The husband explains that it is an ‘Etze-bed-time-story’ – a brilliant pun on the Bok locks’ name.

The advert concludes with Etzebeth saying: “Then they cried for a whole week straight, and we celebrated,” seemingly a reference to the 2019 Rugby World Cup final.
Test cap records on the horizon for Eben Etzebeth
Etzebeth is the most capped player in the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup squad and is set to make his third tournament appearance in France.
The 31-year-old earned his 113th Test cap against the All Blacks in Twickenham and is currently the fourth-most capped South African international.
He is set to go past former Bok loosehead prop Tendai Mtawarira (117 Test caps) during the World Cup to become the third-most capped Springbok.
If South Africa reaches the World Cup final or Bronze final and Etzebeth features in all seven fixtures, he will take his tournament cap tally to 20, the joint-most by a South African alongside Schalk Burger.
The defending world champions will have a difficult task, however, as they have been drawn in Pool B alongside world number one Ireland as well as Scotland, Tonga and Romania.
