The Challenge Cup fourth round takes place this weekend, with just two amateur clubs left in this year’s competition.

Hunslet ARLFC and Rochdale Mayfield had both been drawn tat home to Championship clubs Batley Bulldogs and Newcastle Thunder respectively.

However, Hunslet ARLFC will play their home tie at Batley’s Fox’s Biscuits Stadium on Sunday (2pm).

That tie has been switched from Hunslet Oval after being deemed unsuitable to host a professional game due to the proximity of a road to the pitch.

The game will take place at Mount Pleasant on Sunday April 2, with a 2pm kick-off – £10 for adults and concessions, with juniors free.

Hunslet ARLFC built up to the cup tie with a thrilling 17-16 win at Thatto Heath Crusaders in the NCL Premier Division at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Rochdale Mayfield will host Newcastle Thunder at the Mayfield Sports Centre on Saturday (1pm).

The Rugby Football League’s board approved another switch of venue. League 1 side Midlands Hurricanes were drawn at home to Championship giants Bradford, but the tie will now be played at Odsal because of capacity issues at Hurricanes’ Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

Are any Challenge Cup fourth round ties televised?

There will be two games shown live in the fourth round.

Seven-time winners Widnes travel to League 1 opposition Dewsbury on Sunday in a tie that will be shown live on The Sportsman‘s YouTube channel.

Sunday’s all-Championship affair between York and Sheffield will be shown live on the BBC Red Button and BBC iPlayer, 12:30pm kick-off.
