A key juncture in this fixture could be the opening powerplay of the Bangalore innings. Gujarat fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been in fine form during the opening six overs and, against Kohli and du Plessis, he could be really challenged. Bangalore won’t have Australian seamer Josh Hazlewood for this match due to injury. That will mean more onus on Mohammed Siraj, who is good for it. He is one of the best swing bowlers on display this year.
Mohit Sharma is an IPL veteran. He doesn’t possess the pace of Shami, but his variations could be just the trick for conducive conditions in Bengaluru.

This is looking to be RCB’s year. After three losses in three finals, they’re on course to reach a fourth. They could show they mean business with a win over the Titans here.
