It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.
Where else to begin than with that incredible Leinster v Munster clash in Dublin where Jack Crowley’s drop-goal sealed a 16-15 victory for the visiting side.

His celebration after coolly knocking over the key points led many to have Ronan O’Gara flashbacks, with the finger in the air bringing back ROG memories.

Understandably it was a rollercoaster ride for the coaching team with some jubilant while others couldn’t move after what was a pulsating 80 plus minutes.

Indeed, it’s been quite a ride for Graham Rowntree’s team and one player, veteran Keith Earls, has had a torrid time with injury which made this extra sweet.
Beautiful moment for Keith Earls and his daughters.
For a man whose Munster career was very nearly over due to the recent injury, he was class yesterday.

Of course Munster‘s supporters were thrilled as they celebrated the victory and we imagine the party went on long into the night as Leinster were finally bested.

They face the Stormers in the final on May 27, with the Capetonians defeating Connacht earlier. It was great to see Irish fans making the trip for that semi.
It’s 10,055 km from Galway to Cape Town.
These legends and many others made the trip with a week’s notice.
Best fans in the world. https://t.co/BimaT4f9tX

But the province just couldn’t live with the quality of the Stormers, particularly Manie Libbok, who was again outstanding in a player of the match showing.

That results in back-to-back United Rugby Championship finals for the Stormers, with Munster’s win in Dublin meaning that DHL Stadium hosts the match.

In Super Rugby Pacific, the game of the round saw the Crusaders face the Blues and this moment summed up the chaos. Agonisingly close for Beauden Barrett.

There was also a birthday in Scotland to celebrate as Glasgow Warriors team-mates Ali Price and George Horne have to share that as well as the nine shirt.

Finally, we have not seen this backline move before. Check this one out from a match in South Africa! We are not sure it will catch on but it worked this time.
Have you ever seen a set-piece that starts with the entire backline down on the floor 😮
One of the most interesting attacking moves we’ve seen from Waterkloof U15 which resulted in a try 👏
