Taunton Deane’s two Under 15 sides, the Tigers and the Dynamos, played an inter-club match.

After being put into bat, Tigers openers Stephens and Jerrett scored 25 from the first five overs before Stephens was out.

Jerrett stayed and helped the score onto 61 off 11 overs before the introduction of Towell, who bowled Jarrett and then had Blackwell caught.

When Jerrett was out for 31, Fleming and Ponte swung and ran hard to get the Tigers to 111 for five off their 20 overs.

When they replied, Dynamos openers and Herdsman were looking solid before Blackwell had Salter caught and bowled.

Stuart joined Herdsman to take the total to 29 before Herdsman was bowled by Fleming.

Three runs later, Stuart was caught by Robins off Tier making it 32 for three.

Deal then accounted for Groon and at 37 for four after 10 the game looked to be slipping away from the Dynamos.

Norman and Crookshank had other ideas and took the score on to 67 from 17 overs without further loss.

Two further wickets then fell and at 84 for six off 19 overs with 20 odd needed, and Norman at the crease it was still game on.

Fleming brought himself back on and Norman hit a huge six first ball, but was then bowled for 37 as Dynamos ended 92 for seven.

A great game played in glorious weather in a perfect setting with some mature and positive cricket from both teams.

A great attitude from all with the game being played in the right way throughout.
