Terrific Toulouse, Richie Mo’unga and cross-kicks aplenty : PlanetRugby

It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.

Another week, another stunning performance from Antoine Dupont who simply cannot do anything wrong at this stage. Look at the ground the scrum-half travelled against the Sharks. Simply ridiculous. He isn’t one the best in the game by mistake.

Dummies everywhere! Romain Ntamack was selling dummies like dreams against the Sharks, who had no idea how to stop the flashy Frenchman. That really is some try!

Thomas Ramos, that has to be the bravest play of the European season. The full-back casually squares the ball across the ground ON HIS TRY-LINE to Ntamack. It is the sheer audacity that is mind-blowing. The man can do no wrong at the moment.

This is clearly not the Frenchman’s first rodeo! Three years ago Ramos showed his metal again with a simply ridiculous pass through his legs. Composure 101!

Ruby Tui is constant entertainment! This time in the commentary box, where she expresses her frustration by putting a chair on her head. Some things can’t be scripted but one thing is for sure, never ever change Ruby!

Is he wearing five on his back or 10?! Take a bow, Ali Williams. The most ridiculous cross-kick from a second-rower. That has got to have all the tall men out there grinning. The All Black showed some serious class in this one.

Beauden Barrett channelled his inner Ali Williams on this one. On a serious note, this is crazy. The presence of mind to kick for the second time is what gets us. It was a sensational performance by the All Black superstar!

Richie McCaw is the all-time master of the dark arts. A flank who was a genius at avoiding the whistle and being so influential in the process. However, even the best succumb to the law and here are the very few times the master was blown!

This is one of those moments where all the hours of hard work, all the pre-seasons, all the injuries and all the rehab pays off. The great Richie Mo’unga walks out with his kids for his 100th hit out for the Crusaders. A heart-warming moment for a legend in the Crusaders shirt!

Lock him up! Melani Nanai, that is outrageous, a blind pass out the side door. A Super Rugby special from the defending champions. Brilliant play resulted in a score for his side. Top effort.
