CRICKET fans are invited to a “spectacular” day with a Worcestershire legend.
Worcestershire Ambassadors have invited people to join them for a day of cricket as the Pears take on Essex for the opening day of their County Championship match on Friday, May 16, at Visit Worcestershire New Road.
As well as watching the match, guests will be able to enjoy a Q&A session with Worcestershire cricket legend and former captain Daryl Mitchell.
Jim McBride BEM, chairman of Worcestershire Ambassadors, said: “This is more than just a match – it’s a chance to experience cricket with elegance, comfort and style.

Tickets are £65 and can be booked on the Ambassadors’ website (www.worcestershireambassadors.com/events).
This includes a ticket to watch the match from a top spot, tea or coffee on arrival, a two-course cold meat buffet lunch, afternoon tea and cake, a private paying bar, a cash raffle and auction, and networking and socialising opportunities.
