In their match against Lincolnshire, Rapids scored a hefty total of 212-1 in their 20 overs, thanks primarily to an opening stand of 207 by Boycott and Hill.

Boycott scored 67 runs from 56 balls with eight boundaries to her name before she was dismissed.

Hill, on the other hand, remained unbeaten, racking up 93 runs off 66 balls, including one six and 12 fours.

The batting display was well supported by solid bowling figures from the team.

Amy Maund led the way with the new ball, picking up the first four wickets to reduce Lincolnshire to 23-4.

With final figures of 4-2-9-4, Maund wreaked havoc on the Lincolnshire line-up.

Strong support came from Flora Bertwhistle, Bryony Gillgrass, Charlotte Roberts, and Jess Beach – each chipping in with wickets.

Eventually, Lincolnshire were bowled out for 58 runs in 18.5 overs for a 154-run victory for Rapids.

Boycott continued her heroics with the bat in the next match against Norfolk, chalking up an unbeaten total of 90 runs from 66 balls with nine boundaries.

After a shaky period where Rapids lost five wickets for 29 runs, Boycott and Hannah Hardwick (14 not out) steadied the innings, leading the team to a total of 151-5.

Norfolk found the target out of their reach, closing on 91-7.

Imogen Hill and Bertwhistle each collected two wickets to help secure a 60-run victory.
